Actalent is hiring for a Process Engineer

• Lead the implementation into manufacturing of all new, changed, or improved products (via Process Sign-Off) including documentation and final reports

• Develop, evaluate, improve, and document manufacturing processes

• Work closely with quality and manufacturing personnel to implement measurement and process control techniques and procedures

• Design and develop tooling and processes to ensure effective and efficient production methods

• Develop sources for and collaborate with vendors to develop specifications for tooling, equipment, parts, or materials, and evaluating products

• Assist operations on estimating staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions

• Work closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical and process training for employees

• Design and develop a structured process for improvement and coordinate product/process changes (ECR / PCR process)

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years plus- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering

If no degree, 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience

• Experience with tooling or machining or fabricating processes

• Experience using Solidworks , Creo, or Pro-E

• Ability to read technical drawings / blueprints

Nice to haves:

• Prior experience with compression/transfer molding and industrial paint

• Prior experience with CNC programming (HAAS, Mazak)

• Prior experience with robotics (FANUC, UR, Doosan)

• Experience with a statistical software package such as SQC Pack or Mini Ta
